What is software activation?

Activation is an interactive representation of the license agreement between Coach's Office (or our other football software vendors) and its valued customers. Activation protects the intellectual property and innovation at the heart of the software industry. All the programs we license require activation that helps prevent unauthorized copying of the software.

Is activation mandatory?

Yes. You must activate your Coach's Office software within the 7-day grace period beginning upon installation and entering the serial number. If you do not activate the software, you will be prevented from using it after the 7 days.

Coach's Office offers a 7-day grace period so that users can activate when it is most convenient, yet be able to use the software immediately. The grace period also allows time for users to request the activation key and for tech support to respond - allowing time for evenings, weekends, holidays.. There is a countdown reminder during the grace period each time the software is opened.

What happens during activation?

Activate the Coach's Office within the 7-day grace period after entering the software serial number.

• Install Coach's Office and enter the software serial number given for this license..
• A screen displays the computer's unique hardware code, the verification code.
• Emails the code to the address on the screen.
• An activation key is emailed to the end-user.
• Restart Coach's Office and enter the activation key.
  • The activation key is good for one computer install.
