Coach's Office SlideShow - Multiple Presentation Solutions

The Coach's Office slideshow and playbook programs offer multiple presentation solutions for training players and for speaking engagements. The slideshow works directly with the Coach's Office playbook for presentations; for other solutions, the slideshow program activates a playbook feature named Application Compatible Images (ACI) to save pages and plays as images to upload or insert into other applications. (Hudl, iPad, mobile devices)

Coach's Office Playbook Presentation

Those familiar with PowerPoint will like how the slideshow program lets a coach display plays on a screen or an overhead projector and use a telestrator- like chalk tool to make notes, adjust lines, and draw attention to various aspects of the play. Add cut-up video clips to the playbook with the video player program and give an even more effective presentation.

Create a playbook presentation:

• Draw plays in the chalkboard.

• Add a chapter in the playbook specifically for presentations (recommended).

• Choose simple page templates, such as one with one or two main boxes.

  • Coaches tell us they create a chapter at the end of their playbook called "presentation." When they print their playbook, they do not include those pages in the print range.

  • Choose a page template that has one or two large boxes, not including the title box at the top. This layout provides lots of room to draw on the play, and it displays well.

• Insert plays on the pages.

• Open the SlideShow and choose the playbook chapter to display (fig. 1)

  • Flip through the pages of the presentation chapter (fig. 2)
  • Use the mouse as a telestrator to freehand draw in different colors on the playbook page as if it is an acetate.
  • Easily erase with one click and draw again.
  • Print or capture what is drawn on the screen.
  • If digitized video for the play is available, show it with the play.
    • Coach's Office video player program required for this feature.
  • Run 3D animation of the play.
    • For this option, there can be only one play on the page.
    • 3D animation software required for this feature.
• Present from your computer or project on a white board.
